[It's getting somewhat late when Angel makes her way to apartment 7, but there is a very good reason for that. Her face is ashen, her breathing irregular as she holds a folded piece of paper in her hand. Anyone observant enough will notice her name written on the front, in Rhys's handwriting. That probably explains a little about her current state.

But once she's allowed inside, she won't start this meeting off by discussing business. Things have gotten pretty bad. Elizabeth and Bigby are gone. The remaining three members of the apartment are probably not not in a good shape — and she purses her lips at all of them before speaking.]

There's something I need to speak to all of you about, and it may end up causing you to experience... side-effects. But before that, how are you all faring? [Since, uh. Ava sure did happen.] Do you need help with any of your injuries?

[Which are tbd, considering that thread is on-going... But please get help, Alfendi. Scissors hurt.]

...I'm not sure I like the sound of that, Angel.

[Rhys is... well. Maybe he's telling the truth. Maybe he's not. But Alice is petty and although she was starting to warm up to him a little, everything that's gone on in the last 24 hours has only solidified her dislike of him.]

If Ciel kills you, we should go along with the plan he and Rhys came up with? No. If he kills you, I'll kill him myself.

[She's already planning to kill him. But.]

What do you mean, "false"? If we're getting our memories back, are they not ours? Surely they wouldn't return false memories to us...

[He reaches up a hand to scratch at his chin, thoughtful.]

I have to side with Alice and Shijima here. Talking with Ciel is risky. What if he uses you as a hostage? Or kills you? Besides, wouldn't executing the files play right into their hands?

After I... killed Adam, I remembered my own death. I don't pretend to understand how any of this works, but if I lend credence to Rhys's statement, it makes some sense. It's not possible to revive the dead.

[And as she said during the last trial, she fully believed herself to be dead. She remembers how it felt to be disconnected from the steady supply of Eridium keeping her alive — but that's a story for another time.]

If he kills me, then you're all free to do as you feel is best. But while I'm still alive, I wish to at least hear what he has to say. We may end up gaining more through communication... At least, that's what I believe. However, I understand why you're all against it.

[But she's already died and been held hostage, so. You know. She's not exactly placing a high value to her own life here.]
